Sam Lewis
Founder
Sam is a former Division I basketball player at Fairfield University, where she played from 2017–2022 and helped lead the program to its first conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in over two decades. During her career, she established herself as one of the top shooters in the country, ranking 5th nationally in three-point percentage at 46.5%. She set multiple program records, including a 39-point single-game performance and 11 three-pointers in a game. She was also named MAAC Sixth Player of the Year.
Prior to college, Sam played at Howard High School in Maryland where she set the all-time three-point record and led her team to three county championships. After graduating, she returned to help coach her alma mater to a Maryland 3A State Championship.
As the founder of Beyond The Arc, Sam now uses her experience and passion for the game to develop athletes both on and off the court, focusing not just on skill development, but also confidence, leadership, and life-long lessons.

Kristine Miller
Coach
Kristine is a native of South Jersey, where she played high school basketball at Cedar Creek. She made her mark there as she helped lead the program to its first state championship in school history. Along the way, she cemented herself as one of the program’s all-time greats, scoring over 1,600 career points.
Kristine continued her playing career at the Division I level with Fairfield University. Following her collegiate career, she took her talents overseas to play professionally in Ireland. She represented the Dublin based club, Swords Thunder.
Now as a coach and trainer, Kristine brings a player-first approach rooted in her own journey. She emphasizes skill development through confidence, while mentoring athletes growth both on and off the court. Her background, from championship success to professional play, allows her to connect with players at all levels and help them reach their full potential.
